Who We Are, Why We Exist!

Soul Stars Shoes Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, formed in August of 2024. The founding members share an idea of supporting our community by volunteering time and resources to help develop confidence and self-esteem through the gift of shoes. Our organization targets underprivileged elementary and middle school-aged kids and gives them the same access to the most desirable athletic and stylish footwear worn by their peers.

We started Soul Stars Shoes Foundation because we recognize the importance of self-esteem and confidence in young people, especially during their formative years in elementary and middle school. Having access to desirable name-brand footwear can help these children feel more included and confident among their peers. By providing these shoes, we’re not just giving them something material; we’re also giving them a sense of belonging, dignity, and the motivation to participate in social activities, which can positively impact their overall well-being and future success!

Many charitable organizations currently exist and do amazing work like what we are doing. What separates our goals from other charitable organizations is our vision to allow the children the opportunity to select the shoes they want to receive. Unfortunately, most of the children that we help, have had to “settle” in most scenarios for just what is “available”. We strongly believe that giving our children the opportunity to have a say in the selection process will give them an even greater sense of purpose and pride.
